^i^ Light a candle & say a prayer for your loved one on the other side.
This is a special weekend for many spiritual cultures: All Souls Day, All Saints day and Day of the Dead / Día de Muertos - beautiful traditions to learn about. Did you know that Nov 1-2 are holidays to honor and celebrate the lives of our departed loved ones? For Catholics it's All Saints day and All Souls day. And in Mexico, "Dia de los Angelitos" (Day of the Little Angels - for infants & children) and "Día de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) have been important celebrations for centuries.
In Mexico the cemeteries are decorated with colorful flowers, candles, photos and there’s music & food for these elaborate festivities to honor the relatives that have passed. It’s a beautiful thing!

I've always wanted to visit one of these Mexican cemeteries to experience the tradition!
